High-Power, High-Quality Five Channel Power Amplifier Design

A hallmark of Denon's legendary sound quality is the use of identical power-amp circuitry for all channels, including the all-discrete power amplifier output stage design. Rated at a maximum of 175 watts for each of the five channels, the AVR-E300 provides high power and wide dynamic range with low distortion for a superb surround sound listening experience.

Audyssey Bronze Built-In

The AVR-E300 features Audyssey Bronze--Denon's entry level of support for Audyssey technologies. It includes Audyssey MultEQ, Audyssey Dynamic Volume, and Audyssey Dynamic EQ.

Audyssey MultEQ calibrates the system for as many as six different seating positions, which means everyone gets a "good seat"--not just the person sitting directly in front of the display. Audyssey MultEQ greatly improves the sound quality of any home theater system.

Audyssey Dynamic Volume senses the impending arrival of very loud sounds and automatically reduces the difference between normal and extra-loud programming. Additionally, Audyssey Dynamic EQ automatically adjusts subwoofer and surround speaker levels for maximum performance at any playback volume.

Five HDMI Video Inputs with 1080p and 3D Pass-through

The AVR-E300 is equipped with five HDMI inputs, including four on the rear panel and one on the front panel, which lets you quickly and easily connect your HDMI-equipped camcorder, smartphone, or other portable multimedia device.

With HDMI Standby Pass-through, you can enjoy a program from your cable or satellite tuner on your TV without the need to turn the AVR-E300 on, which is ideal for casual viewing of newscasts and other media for which sound quality is not crucial.

Denon AVR-E300 Review

Denon AVR-E300 Review from Amazon buyer:

This does it all.
ByBruceron June 13, 2015
This receiver does it all. I particularly like the android app that let's me control it from my phone or tablet. Installation was as you'd expect for any receiver and I'm very pleased with it. I got this from Amazon Warehouse Deals and it included everything that was supposed to be included except for the original box for less that a C note so I'm thrilled with the deal! In addition to using it with the TV, I really enjoy the internet radio feature. I'd be real happy with it even if I paid full price. My last Denon receiver was used for 12 years with no issues so they do make a reliable product.

Can't beat the sound or the price.

This is super cheap and sound's just as good as anything they sell at Best Buy or similar stores. May not have all the features but I've got so many devices, computers, and other junk i couldn't care less. Paired it with ceiling and wall speakers from monoprice and it sounds great. This is the poor man's superior 5.1 sound system.

We live in the future of radio!

This is the first receiver I've bought in...forever. So there's that.
I was really going back and forth between this and the E200 as well as an older Aiwa. I'M SO GLAD I GOT THIS ONE. The internet connectivity is solid, freaking GOLD. As a person who's suffered with crappy FM antennas for...ever...this is like a complete revelation. All my favorite stations from all over the country are available in pure, digital glory. NO MORE CRAPPY RECEPTION!
The on-screen menus couldn't be easier to navigate and setup, as is the Audyssey sound compensation. And after years of dealing with all-in-one's, it was really nice to get my old speakers out of the basement to make use of them. I bought this refurbished because it's a crazy-good deal. And anyone worried about longevity should look at the price of extended warranties...really makes it a no-brainer.
